Consideration of the environmental benefits linked to agricultural practices

These indicators aims to highlight the most virtuous agricultural practices. To achieve this, two criteria are considered:

Présence of labels

Products with a label of added environmental value (see list below) are eligible for associated bonuses.

Labels

Environmental policy

In the absence of a label, the environmental policy of the countries of origin provides bonus or penalty points based on the EPI index.

Environmental policy

These two criteria cannot be combined: the country's environmental policy is only considered in the absence of a label. The aim is to avoid redundancy between these criteria since the specifications of the labels are more stringent than the environmental policies implemented at the national level.
